Jack Layton was the founder of Layton Manufacturing. He invented asphalt paving equipment that is used all over the world. Jack really never gave up inventing and continued fabricating machines at his shop in Independence, Oregon. Offered at auction include his shop full of industrial tools and items used in his hobbies of deep-sea fishing, boating and flying airplanes. The sheer volume of items warrants a two-day sale.
